WHAT'S UP FISHING BUDDIES?!

First off, I would like to thank you for taking an interest in my page. If you were like me when wanting to fish, you might not know-how, or where to start. I would walk into a big box store, go to the fishing isle, and be overwhelmed with all the color choices of lures, plastics, hooks, and things that seemed to have no explanation, and think, "who am I kidding."

It was not until my family and I moved to the beautiful Perdido, Florida area that my interest in fishing sparked again. Up until this point, I had given an honest effort into kayak fishing Biscayne Bay in Miami. I was after the notorious Snook species and never caught one. I had no idea how to target these mysteries, and no one around to guide me.  

Since moving to Perdido Key, I have met some great locals that have helped me tremendously in polishing my angling skills. With my family, full-time work, and in the middle of a degree, I committed to getting a line in the water as much as possible and started seeing improvement rapidly. I found that local residences make pompano rigs, custom lures, and jig heads that work just as well, if not better than the stuff I was buying from the giants. Plus, this made my selection process less anxiety ridden. I feel I have ironed out most of the kinks I was running into initially with a dedication to this sport.
